Kemet's automotive grade surface-mount MLCCs meet the demanding AEC-Q200 qualification requirements
KEMET's automotive grade series surface-mount capacitors are suited for a variety of applications requiring proven, reliable performance in harsh environments. Whether under-hood or in-cabin, these devices emphasize the vital and robust nature of capacitors required for mission and safety critical automotive circuits. Stricter testing protocol and inspection criteria have been established in recognition of potentially harsh environmental conditions and to ensure they meet the demanding Automotive Electronics Council's AEC-Q200 qualification requirements.
Combined with the stability of C0G, X7R, X8L, and Ultra Stable X8R dielectric materials, KEMET's automotive grade devices exhibit reliable and proven performance up to their design maximum operating temperatures ranging from 125°C to 150°C. In addition, KEMET has developed a complete line of devices that address application voltages ranging from 6.3 VDC to 3,000 VDC.
