The new 5-pin Mini-B USB receptacle from SUYIN’s 020200MA005XX55ZX series features an SMT design for vertical mounting on the PCB. This compact receptacle, with dimensions of 9.9 x 6.4 x 7.3 (L x W x H in mm, overall), is suited for use with Mini USB connectors with a slanted housing.

All five of the receptacle’s upright contact connections with a pitch of 0.80 mm are connected to the PCB via SMT termination. Additional SMT soldering tabs provide extra stability for anchoring on the PCB and ensure a sturdy hold, even when high insertion and removal forces are applied. The number of mating cycles is specified at 5,000. Other key specifications for this compact Mini USB receptacle include the contact current capacity of 30 VDC /1.0 A per pin, the contact resistance of 50 mΩ (max.), the insulation resistance of 100 MΩ (min., initial) and the operating temperature range from –40 °C to +105 °C. This Type-B USB receptacle is lead free and complies with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) requirements. The minimum order quantity of this Mini-USB connector starts at 80 kpcs per year.
