Ultraviolet A (UVA) Series SunLED’s UVA emitters offer 365 nm to 415 nm wavelengths in two different package types
SunLED now offers a line-up of Ultraviolet A (UVA) SMD LEDs to support applications outside of typical indication. Low powered (20 mA) and high powered (500 mA) package options are available in 365 nm, 385 nm, 395 nm, and 405 nm wavelength selections. A ceramic substrate paired with a silicone material lens ensures high reliability and greatly reduces degradation rate.
The low powered version comes packaged in an industry-standard 0805 footprint, while the high powered version is packaged in a 3.45 mm x 3.45 mm compact footprint. Both series are classified with a moisture sensitivity level (MSL) of 1, making these parts extremely robust on the production floor. UVA LEDs are commonly used in various curing applications, counterfeit bill detection, blood analysis, photocatalytic air purifiers, among many other applications.
