Murata introduces common mode noise filters for high-speed differential interfaces such as USB4
Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has introduced the NFG0QHB_HS2 series of multilayer type common mode noise filters for high-speed differential interfaces (USB4, USB3.2 Gen1/2, HDMI2.1, etc.). Mass production of these products will start in May 2020.
USB and HDMI are used in many devices as interfaces for transferring data and video for mobile terminals, televisions, PCs, and displays. The need to transmit data, such as high-resolution video and streaming data, is increasing so introduction of USB4 (40 Gbps), USB3.2 Gen1 (5 Gbps) / Gen2 (10 Gbps), and HDMI2.1 (12 Gbps) is advancing as high-speed differential interfaces that enable communication of even more data.
These high-speed differential interfaces transfer high-speed signals without loss, so noise suppression products with a high cut-off frequency (fc) are needed. Therefore, Murata has introduced the NFG0QHB_HS2 series of multilayer type common mode noise filters, which are ideal for high-speed differential interfaces.
