Holtek is delighted to announce the release of its new generation Arm Cortex-M0+ Brushless DC motor microcontroller device, the
HT32F65232.
This new device is suitable for Hall sensors or sensor-less one-shunt Field Oriented Control (FOC)
and square wave sensor-less control. It has an operating frequency up to 60MHz and a wide operating voltage range of 2.5V~5.5V. When the system voltage is 5V, the device can
provide higher analog signal resolution and less noise interference when driving motors. With the characteristics of high efficiency, excellent price/performance ratio and a high
level of functional integration, the device can be widely used in applications such as electric scooters, kitchen ventilators, vacuum cleaners, pumps, fans, etc.
The device contains a 32KB Flash Program Memory and a 4KB SRAM Data Memory. With regard to one-shunt FOC and square wave sensor-less control, the device includes an OCP function (OPA and CMP0) and a comparator CMP1, a 12-channel 2Msps SAR ADC, powerful MCTM, GPTM, hardware divider and other peripheral functions. Additionally, there are a range of communication interfaces including UART, USART, I²C and SPI, which can be combined with the 6-channel PDMA and CRC16/32 functions to improve communication response and security.
The device is supplied in 32-pin QFN(4×4) and 48-pin LQFP package types, which contain up to 44 GPIO pins. Holtek also provides an HT32 Series BLDC Workshop to reduce the product development and evaluation time for motor related products with both Hall sensors and sensor-less FOC control.
