In today's fast-paced world of electronics, connector reliability and performance are fundamental to the smooth functioning of devices.
In response to the growing demand of the market, Amass is introducing its new LC series of high-current connectors. These state-of-the-art components set new standards in power transmission, offering exceptional performance and unparalleled reliability across a broad spectrum of applications.
LC series Amass connectors
Ground-breaking technology and exceptional performance
The LC series from Amass marks a revolution in the connector installation technology. Thanks to the innovative crown spring-based system, the installation process has become simpler, faster and more reliable than ever before. These compact connectors are also modular. The contact elements are attached to the wires by crimping, and then they are snapped into the connector housing. Importantly, the contact element rotates relative to the plug, which reduces stress transferred from the wires and has a positive effect on vibration test results.

The LC series connectors are designed for maximum efficiency and reliability. Silver-plated copper is the conductive material here, which significantly improves the current carrying capacity and minimises connector heating during operation. The 360° crown spring design guarantees long service life and effectively prevents damage. Crimping replaces traditional soldering, making the assembly process easier and more efficient.

The safety lock is convenient to use and designed to effectively prevent the connector from falling out or accidental disconnection.
Versatility of applications and specialised solutions
The LC series connectors are suitable for a variety of applications, from wire-to-wire connections to PCB mounting, which means that they are a truly versatile solution for manufacturers. They can handle continuous currents up to 60 A and instantaneous currents up to 110 A. Their resistance to extreme operating conditions, such as high temperatures, makes them suitable for applications in electric vehicles or emergency power systems, where reliability is crucial. The melting point of the PBT insulating coating reaches approx. 230°C, which ensures stability and long service life in harsh environments. The LC series of Amass connectors means innovation, efficiency and reliability.
